These policies are in place in order for me to maintain a sustainable business and balance my work/family life. Please read these carefully.

Students must attend lessons on a weekly basis. To keep a spot in the studio students must commit to 3 lessons minimum for the month.  

 

Payment Schedule

-All lessons must be paid before or by the first lesson of the month to reserve your lesson slot. 

-My rate is $25 per half hour, $37.50 per 45 minutes, and $50 for a full hour. I will send out an invoice each month including the number of lessons in the month, amount of payment due and date of payment.

-Payment may be done by check, cash, Venmo or by PayPal (friends and family). Payment by CASH or CHECK is my preferred method of payment. A receipt of payment will be sent monthly via e-mail. PayPal (usafdrum1@yahoo.com) or Venmo payments to @David-Vittetoe.

-The monthly payment will be reduced if notice of planned vacations or other conflict (band concerts) is given by the first of the month or the beginning of the semester, as applicable. If you are sick or cancel at the last minute, payments are not adjusted. (See Makeup lessons)

 

Cancellations: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

-If a lesson must be cancelled, please notify me within 24 hours. 

-Cancellations the day of the lesson will be charged.

-Each student is guaranteed one makeup lesson per semester during the designated makeup week at the end of the fall and spring semester. (See Makeup Lessons)

-No shows will not be made up.

 

I will only cancel a lesson if I am sick, or because of an unavoidable family situation or emergency. If this happens, I will do my best to schedule a make up at the student’s convenience. If that is not possible, you will be credited for the missed lesson the following month.

 

Makeup Lessons

-If more than one lesson is missed, additional make ups will be considered on a case- by- case basis, depending on the circumstances.  I will notify you of any openings I have come up during the semester in which a make-up could be scheduled.  I will not commit to a make-up lesson if the student still has not paid for the month. 

 

If lessons are terminated before the end of the month, payment will not be reimbursed.

Late Payments

If tuition is not paid by the end of the month, the student will be dropped from the studio until missed payments are completed. Additionally, payment for the following month must be completed in addition to the missed tuition to stay in the studio.
